Throttle Cable Sensor
The throttle cable sensor enables a vehicle without a sensor to have the position monitored from the cable movement.
The sensor has an internal slider that is connected to a linear position sensor. The slider has two slots to accept the cable inner with a nipple termination. The outside case has a cable tensioner to adjust any slack out of the resultant cable. The linear sensor provides a 0 to 5V voltage in proportion to position.

Positioning and cable lengths
- Measure the throttle travel on the vehicle; choose the sensor with the next longest travel. units are 43 or 58 mm travel
- Find a position the unit in the centre of the cable run inside the frame if possible
- Order cables that have 70mm non adjuster side of inner exposed and 80mm adjuster side of inner exposed.
- Connect the adjuster side of the cable system to the carburetor / throttle body and the non-adjuster side to the drivers / riders throttle control if possible (if opposite then the logger software can be set to read this correctly)
- Assemble and check the throttle has complete travel
