Wheel Speed sensor
The Sensor detects wheel speed.
Fitting
Mount the sensor to point the detecting face at a wheel bolt. Preferable is a single magnetic bolt that has been extended to be greater than 5mm than the other wheel bolts. The sensors detecting face should be 0.5 to 1mm away from the face of the detected bolt at the trigger position. The detector face should cover the detected bolt fully in the trigger position.
The sensor is supplied with a stainless steel M6 20mm magnetic bolt and stainless steel nut. The sensor is also supplied with an aluminum wheel speed bracket suitable for many applications.

The graph above shows a lap marker on a long straight
| Light Green | = Speed |
| Red | = RPM |
| Yellow | = Throttle |
| Blue | = Brake |
For best results:
- Mount the sensor face proud of the fixing nut (reduces sensitivity if flush)
- Mount in non-ferrous metal
Warning:
- Use the supplied lock-washers with the sensor and only tighten to 6Nm
- Check that no other bolts are within 5mm of the sensor over the full rotation of the wheel
- If the front face of the sensor is scraped by being too close to the detected bolt the sensor will be damaged
Systems compatible with
