MMC card and MMC card reader
The multimedia Card (MMC) is used by the Cougardata recording system. The card reader allows the MMC card to be accessed by USB port on the users PC.
MMC card configuration
The card must be 32Mb and have the settings file preloaded to conform to the cougardata systems requirements. Other card sizes can be reformatted to the 32 Mb standard by the logger (V1.14 model onwards).
The settings file must be loaded onto the card by the cougardata PC program. The program is available to download free from the website.
Due to the card structure, card use will cause deterioration of the memory. Lifetime of the card is expected to be greater than 1000 recording sessions
Card Format
- 32Mb FAT32
- The capacity (using my computer) to be 32,014,336 bytes.
- Larger card capacities must be reformatted
- The Cougarcard.bpl file must be on the card
- No other files must be present on the card
- Card lifetime = 1000 logs
